
Cesar Bello – Operatic Baritone
Mexican-Canadian baritone Cesar Bello is a dynamic and versatile performer with an extensive international career in opera. He began his vocal training at the Conservatory of Music of Mexico under the guidance of Professor Enrique Jaso before further refining his artistry at the Accademia d’Arte Lirica Osimo in Italy.
Cesar has graced prestigious stages worldwide, including Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, where he performed in Shostakovich’s NOS (The Nose). His repertoire spans a wide range of operatic masterpieces, including Belcore in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’Amore, Alfio in Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Tonio in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, and Figaro in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
In Canada, Cesar has been an integral part of the operatic scene, performing Schaunard in La Bohème at the Brott Music Festival, Mercutio in Roméo et Juliette, and Alidoro in Rossini’s La Cenerentola. His collaborations with VOICEBOX: Opera In Concert have solidified his reputation as a compelling and expressive artist.
